Final Fantasy X HD to include X-2 HD remaster, International versions
This week’s Jump! issue confirms that the Playstation 3 version of Final Fantasy X’s upcoming HD remaster will be bundled with an HD remaster of its direct sequel, Final Fantasy X-2. As for its Playstation Vita counterpart, both games will be sold separately.
Jump! also confirms both games will be of their PAL/International versions, both of which had been only released in regions outside of North America: Final Fantasy X: International was released in Japan and as the game’s only localized European version; Final Fantasy X-2: International + Last Mission was released only in Japan.
The International version of X includes a completely redesigned sphere grid and the Dark Aeon and Penance superbosses; X-2 International + Last Mission includes gameplay tweaks, three new dresspheres, a Coliseum battle mode, and a special post-script dungeon called Yadonoki Tower.
Retail prices have yet to be announced.
Final Fantasy X HD will be available for Playstation 3 and Playstation Vita later this year.
